Simple And Cost Effective DIY Light Fixtures

Are you looking to add a decorative light fixture to your space without the hassle of electrical wiring? Then this is the DIY project for you! This puck light hack can completely enhance the aesthetic of any room and all it takes is a few simple steps. 

Getting Started:

To get started, you'll need some of our Battery-Operated Puck Lights, in this example, we used the Energizer Color-Changing Dimmable LED Puck Lights With Remote, a sconce, velcro, and a GE Polarized Outlet Plug. 

The first thing you'll need to do is decide where you want your light fixtures to go. In this example, decorative lighting was added above photos on a gallery wall. Once you've screwed in the sconce in your desired location, you've nearly completed the project! 

The next thing you will want to do is attach one side of the velcro strip to the puck light, and the other side to the outlet plug. This step will make it easy to screw the puck light in and out of the scone. This is particularly useful for when it will come time to change out the batteries in the puck light. 

Once you've screwed the puck light into the sconce, your project is complete! All you need to do is use the remote control that came with your puck lights to turn them off and on, change colors, and use the other features as desired.

This is a truly simple and cost-effective way to add character to a room and completely transform a space with lighting!
